Heading planetwards and I notice an unusual-looking moon near the planet - it's a dull red colour for some reason. So I carry on my way and after a few moments the penny drops... it's in eclipse.
Well done, once again, the unpaid army who code all this stuff up.
(After a long layoff I picked up a zero-kills Commander of mine in version 1.90 and set about making him less harmless. He's just been offered the Constrictor mission. )

Thank you! The Constrictor has now been put to bed but I'd quite forgotten how damn fast that escape capsule is travelling and it suffered a tragic accident. Ah well, the boost to the kill count is what matters. First time I've got this far for a release or two and I'm getting the reflexes for furballs better than I had for a while, although I still hate Assassins with the fire of a thousand suns especially when they make a berserk charge at you just to loose off a hardened missile an inch away from your nose...

Would that be core assassins? As an interstellar courier, I've dealt with hundreds of them, but never had one do that to me.
I associate that behaviour with jerks in Ferdies. If you're talking about the Assassins Guild, then I wouldn't know.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Just the core assassins, I think. I checked which OXPs I had loaded just now.
And then I went and Jumped into a system where I had two gangs of revolutionaries pounce on me, and at least half of them had injectors. Well, who wants to be able to sucker the bad guys into a stern chase anyway? Getting into a half-hour turning fight where every time one of the Kraits gets close to dying he runs away before you can finish him is much more fun. Got there in the end, but with some broken equipment, and they killed one of my cats too, murdering bastards.
