Variable Jump Drive OXP...

Overview:
------------
This is an add-on for how misjumping works.
It allows different destinations than the standard misjump and allows you to reach some "unreachable" systems.


Variable Jump Drive v0.3 reports its X, Y Light-Year coordinates target in selected destination mode...although what those numbers mean may only be apparent through trial-and-error.
Activating it increases misjump percentage by 10%.
Changing modes increases misjump percentage by 1%.
Cycling all the way through the percent misjump distances disables it.

This equipment is similar to what the Galactic Navy uses to ambush Thargoids in interstellar space.
It may stomp all over any mission/campaign OXPs that expect specific misjump behavior, but at least it reports what mode it's changing to.

Installation:
-------------
Drop this oxp in your "AddOns" folder.
For de-installation just remove the oxp from the AddOns folder.

Version history:
-------------------
0.1 Initial testing phase (pre-release)
0.2 Cleaned up logic and better reporting what target coordinates are set to.
0.3 Made compatible with Oolite v1.79 and changed from 5% changes to 1% and 10% changes depending on whether using activation or mode change.

Am I correct in presuming that this - so far - does nothing too significant as it really needs other oxp's which will generate activity at the 13% point or the 78% point etc.?

Yes, there would not be much at an atypical misjump percent.
...but most OXPs/OXZs don't check if the misjump was less than 50%, so it can do weird things because of that too!

Oolite will still spawn some token Thargoids...typically about 1-5...but so many campaigns/missions/mods arbitrarily add stuff to interstellar space that it gets crowded no matter where you end up.

This equipment is useful in extremely few cases where you know exactly how to misjump precisely to reach Oresrati for instance...or cross the Great Rift in Galaxy Sector 7...
BUT! this equipment doesn't provide the means of jumping multiple times to do so...and 7 Light Year fuel capacity is certainly not going to cut it.
Other OXPs and/or ingame tricks are needed to go further than that.

I use this in conjunction with Misjump Inducer...and ancient 3 LY fuel pods in mission pylons...and other things that I haven't released because they're game-breaking cheats. (I don't usually have those available when playing "fair".)
