I dunno, I'm only the doorman. Probably pink gins in the Admiralty bar.

I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

Re: Xenon UI OXP
Finally had a chance to put in some Oolite time. Unfortunately Mr. Latest Log spit out the following error at me.
Have not seen any sort of problem in game but a log without errors is a major goal of mine. Thank You for your time and effort.

No idea how I missed that one! Version 3.5 is now up which fixes it.

Re: Xenon UI OXP
Question: can I change the default spinning Cobra at start-up to my player ship (Griff's late-model Cobra)?
I've a vague memory of doing this years ago, but that might be a false memory.

Re: Xenon UI OXP
I think the issue might be that your cobra isn't the default player cobra and so it's displaying that one by default.
If I 'm right then renaming your ship within the shipdata (and possibly shipyard) plists of the oxp should achieve the desired result.

Ah, found it here. I'll have a tinker after dinner, and see if it still works.
My apologies, phkb, I've put this in the wrong thread.

Re: Xenon UI OXP
Thanks! In that case: as suggested by Redspear and another_commander, edits in the
shipdata
and shipyard
plists, and crucially, an edit in the save-file, worked. I have my bespoke splashscreen, my choice of theme music*, and my late-model Cobra spinning!*Not knocking your theme music, phkb (which knocks spots off NoSleep's), but I've been meaning to change it for years!

Is Explorer's Club another XenonUI victim?

Re: Xenon UI OXP
'Victim' seems a little harsh! But yes, the Explorer's club background image is being suppressed in favour of the Xenon UI ones. As the documentation states, "this is by design", with the goal being to present a more unified, consistent UI experience to the user.
If you don't want this to take place, go into Library Config, find the Xenon UI settings, and change the "Active mode" to false. Then Xenon UI will stop overriding the background images.

Re: Xenon UI OXP
<scratches head - coughs> Dumb pilot's question: if I wished to uninstall Xenon UI OXP (which I don't), how would I do it?
You see, if I go to the manager, and select List Installed Expansion Packs, Xenon UI doesn't show. See image here.
Either: I am a really dumb pilot; something is wrong with my Oolite install (1.91); or something else is wrong.
My Oolite 1.90 install doesn't seem* to have the same problem. Any ideas? It's been puzzling me all evening.
Could it be connected to this, perhaps? I don't see how, but I'm grasping at straws!
*Not fully investigated.

Is your expansion pack list up to date?

Re: Xenon UI OXP
I've updated it several times this evening, but I'll go do it again.
