Pteradyne Technolegies, Inc produces two ships for the common market.
The PTSF-200 Excalibur, a small, fast escort fighter, and the PTLT-1250 Paladin, a light courier/trader transport (shown in my avatar).
I've released version 1.0 + a bugfix patch to Oosat2, but it's yet to show up there. Until then, grab the patched version 1.1 here.

Your avatar looks real nice - if I install this oxp will this be just two more potentially nasty pirates I might meet in G1?
I've definitely got to spend more time playing the game and not the BBs!
[Actually if you ask my wife I need to spend more time turning the study into a nursery - the big day is now only 14 weeks away! ]

The pirates steal the ships, so their toughness will vary randomly depending on how much gear is left intact on the stolen ships.
The legally owned ships will be pretty much fully decked out. And the military variant Excalibur is a real killer, having most of that high end military gear, a full magazine of hardheads, and superior engines to the civilian version.
It's a goot thing they're rare ships, maybe.
Oh, the Paladin has a max_missiles of 10 in this download. My bad. I was using it as a testbed for a nuclear torpedo I'm messing with. Set the max_missiles to 6, that's what it should be.

You should see the ship ingame. I used a fake shader trick with an imbedded specularity layer to enhance the metallic tones, a fairly simple GIMP trick.
The skin didn't quite seam up perfect on the model, but oh well, it still looks cool.
I'll whack up a PTI ad sometime for ya, Doc.
