In the Oolite Wiki I found the Oolite planet list here

At every planet there is a factor called 'TC' and a number. Does anybody know what that means?

I think you mean "HC"? "TL" is tech level; "HC" is "hub count" - this is the number of systems that are one jump away. There are notes explaining the planet list here:

I played Elite many years ago on an C-64. From that beginnings Oolite is lightyears away. What I like is that it's (specially in the beginning) not so hard to play.
What I really like is the Vimana-HUD and in the moment I don't know anything what I dislike.
