Space Dredger.oxp was a different ship to the Generation Ship. Both were refered to in the Elite Manual but not accually in the game.

The Dredger is a factory ship, moden and plays its part in the Ooniverse, big but lauched reacently. It hangs about scooping materials and then docks to sell its produce.

Generation ships were kilometers long. They were launched from Old Earth centuries before witch-drives were invented, travelling along for hundreds of years to reach their destination.

Their builders thought that this was the only way to reach distant stars. Of course, as we all know, history took another cause and those who stayed at Old Earth and developed witch drives, colinised the Galaxy. This second wave of human ships collonised the Galaxys through Hyper-Drives, traveling 7 light years with a witch drive in a second, whilst the Generation Ships chugged along in normal space taking 21 years to cover the same distance.

Sealed inside these Generation Ships, generations of humans have lived and died for 900 years. Their legends tell of a time when the holy "bridge" will open and they will arrive at the promised land! Now after centruies of travel at sub-light speeds, just a few are reaching their target stars!

(Draco's Gen ship is different to the Factory Ship)!

Perhaps LB wouldn't mind, since he's already doing all this reposting of 'the lost levels'...?

If I hadn't made so many so many mistakes when posting on Oosat, I might have dared to volunteer myself. As it is, I wouldn't even dare to delete spam there. But I don't mind reporting on Oosat spam, if someone takes the job as spamkiller and we get a place to report it.

Deleted the resubmitted version of PTSF-200, as this is the old version and Cmdr Wyvern has posted the Updated version.

I don't mind doing some approving for Oosat2. Although, I tend to go in fits and starts with Oolite, so it may not speed things up that much!

Fer-de-Lance NG is still not there, should i dig it out from my addons folder?

The NG is on Oosat1. ATM all the OXPs are now available, but some (eg boy racers, deposed etc) are only on Oosat1. As a first go I only resubmitted the ones that were not on Oosat1.

I'll get round to resubmitting the ones on Oosat1 back to Oosat2. I've made a list...

Tried to resubmit Gen-Ships to Oosat2, but got the message that my 50M limit had been reached (guess cos I've submitted so many of other people's OXPs). Could Winston raise my limit? Or if a create a new account, can I submit under a new name? Or is Ooast just full?

Yeah, I can't actually remember who did the purple skin, but it was definitely an unauthorised mod! I don't think I even have a link to the file any more.

I have completed the model for the new IC, and am in the middle of texturing it. I haven't really looked at it for a while though due to some computing problems and my notorious lack of attention span. I've been somewhat distracted by my comic...

I'll drift back soon - have no fear. Then I'll get the IC2 finished and get back on the TOGY.

Thanks for uploading all my OXPs, LB. I was having trouble finding the zip file for the Thargoid Carrier...
