No news of the Contrictor?

Knowing that this was coming up I took myself off to a system where I'd be able to swap my Python for a fully equipped Cobra. Sure enough I got the call after making my 256th kill and was told that the Contrictor was last seen at Reesdice. I immediately bought the Cobra and was there within half a dozen jumps.

My problem is that I've now made a number of trips back and forth between Reesdice and surrounding systems. I've clocked up a further 50 kills in the process but have had no further news of the Constrictor. No messages telling me that it's jumped to another galaxy. Nothing. Any suggestions?

Did you check the system info (F7) of the places you went to? IIRC that is where you get updates on the Constrictor.
