Problems with Planetfall

Post by ffutures »

Anyone else noticing problems with the Planetfall add-on since the new release? I haven't been able to land since the change, as soon as I get close to the ground the temperature rises and my ship explodes, regardless of how slowly I go in.

There was a similar problem a couple of releases back, I'm wondering if somehow the change that fixed this was disabled by the new release.

Just landed. I only had to approach really slowly at the last moments, because the closer you are to the surface the faster the temperature rises with a constant speed.

I don't think I've been slowing much, just using a very shallow approach angle, sounds like that's where I've been going wrong. Not sure why I haven't encountered this before, maybe I'm just out of practice.

Later - yes, that fixed it. Final approach shot...
