Hello, I have a question .....
I heard that with 1.8.8 there are no more random misjumps where you come from in the Thargo area ??? Where the game decides when a jump occurs and when it doesn't ...
Is that correct ? Games for a long time and had until now nothing, if so, can you activate it manually or write a code for it again?
there is an oxp where. man that can control himself whether it is a jump or not but I would like to leave it to pure chance again .....
Hope it is possible, I have translated it with a text because my English is not good, if it is sometimes not so well explained.
thank you for info and tips.
In short: Missjumps Yes, again active but from
game and not via oxp where you can control it yourself / must.
thank you..........

As far as I know, 'random' misjumps should still occur, though they are more likely when your maintenance level is low.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

If you want to misjump on purpose, that is still possible. As the countdown approaches zero, hold down the pitch control so your ship is spinning upwards or downwards.

Correct me if I'm wrong, but I think forcing a misjump only works pitching upwards.
If using a stick, it may not work at all. In that case, keyboard input is needed.

Could be right. I always pitch upwards, come to think of it. But it doesn't make sense that it would be asymmetric... does it?

In the dim recesses of my memory, I have the notion it was a cheat, inserted for testing, and left.
I may be wrong, of course! Hopefully, someone might know for certain.

Cody is right. Misjump is full pitch upwards at the end of countdown and it was initially a test feature that stuck.

Muchas gracias, Admiral. I've noticed a correlation between advancing years and an increasing lack of certainty.
The forced misjump has become a useful part of gameplay for some - Midway is not only about snuffin' gooks!
