But HOW do i locate the docking station after a hyperjump? There s no interaction with the nav grid, and nothing tells me what's what, only that there are "things/ships" there. This is considerably more challenging than it was on an old Atari ST with no manual.

The compass lets you find the main planet (and other things, if you have an advanced compass). The main station is always near the main planet, and when you get close enough to the planet, the basic compass automatically switches to point to the station instead (but it still shows the planet circle blip).
