x64 Installed to VTRoot

Post by DeathStalker »

Just wanted to let the devs know on my Win10 x64 system, the 64-bit installer installed the game to my VTRoot directory. I had to do a search and manually copy it over. Not sure how it will work now with installing the add-ons. Is there a way of preventing this?

Thanks! (Haven't had a chance to play it yet, but it LOOKS phenomenal!)

Hi and welcome, thanks for the report.

Is VTRoot the folder created by Comodo Antivirus to hold sandboxed applications or are you talking about something completely different?

Not sure, but I tried re-installing it as ADMIN and it worked. Now I just have to re-add the 200+ expansion packs again :( (pls see my Suggestion post on that).

Thanks!.

Good to know it worked. Just in case anyone has a similar issue in the future and has to look for information here, and assuning that VTRoot is indeed the Comodo Antivirus created folder, here is some useful reference on how one can solve the issue: https://steamcommunity.com/discussions/ ... 248066054/

From here, it looks like Comodo decided to sandbox your install without notifying you.
