We're back... kinda

Post by Cody »

Thanks, Giles (I presume it was you, anyway) - something to do with ICANN verification, was it?
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Oh, is "kinda" related with the warning at the top of the page (i.e. "[phpBB Debug] PHP Warning: in file [ROOT]/includes/functions.php on line 4280: ob_start(): output handler 'ob_gzhandler' conflicts with 'zlib output compression'")?

Re: PM problems

There are problems with private message notifications (both via email and in-forum) for some of us.
If you've recently sent any PMs and wondered why there was no response, this is probably why.

Tried to report it* over PM too, but I have two of them stuck in my Outbox -- is this fixed yet ?

[ * ] PMs stay stuck in Outbox, not being sent.

PMs remain in the Outbox until read by the intended recipient. And no, not fixed yet.

Hmm, it might be "just" a BB setting (i.e. to clean them from sender's outbox once the notification has been successfully sent to the recipient) -- so they might be fixed, but another way around :-D

<the PM you replied me cleaned from my Outbox -- not sure if a reply is needed or just for the recipient to see/read the message>
EDIT: the second one sent to you as an acknowledgement also cleaned from Outbox, although no reply -- so that could be the case -- they are moved to sent once seen/read by the recipient.
