Okay, let's try something different; a game of Mornington Crescent Alpha Centauri. The goal is to get to Alpha Centauri by the most logical route, within the strict rules of the game. Your move should use the title of any relevant books, TV shows, or whatever, and you should explain why your move is legal! You must let someone else make a move before you can make your next move - remember, strict rules mean that wormholes take TWO turns, and supernovae are right out!

I'll start the ball rolling, with a starting location of Mornington Crescent; then go Out of the Silent Planet (Earth) to Perelandra (Venus) - I know it's one of the standard openings, but there's nothing wrong with that.

We're still in familiar opening territory here, can't see any reason to disallow it.

the new horizons mission gets you to pluto

Now this one's a little tricky - Cody's move took us to Mars, and New Horizons didn't actually fly by Mars, it visited the asteroids and Jupiter before heading out to Pluto. Basically, you'd have to hitch a lift somehow. Are you playing an Electronic Thumb gambit this early in the game?

By the way, if anyone spots any rules problems I've missed with any move please don't hesitate to comment.

OK, assuming we're not headed to Pluto that's a good move, though with Flat Cats aboard there's a risk of Tribbling (or maybe it should be Trumbling since we're playing on this site). People might want to avoid worlds with abundant food sources for the next 3 rounds.
