Constrictor Hunt trigger?

Looking to start the above mission. Went through the novella, stopped at Orarra, Tiriusri, and Esdi with no luck. How does one start the mission? TIA!
And For the Iron Raven mission, the author says to check the PDF for the next step. I can't find the PDF anyplace. Anyone have a source? Again, Thanks In Advance.
Broke down and bought a real joystick, kills are up in the 800's so I'm getting up there. Of course my Brain Housing Group has too many faulty memory chips and my Waldoes (reference: Heinlein) need new seals and lubrication so I think I'm doing all right for a person who played this game on a C-64 in my middle age (G).

The Constrictor Hunt mission should trigger if you're in G1 or G2 with at least 256 kills. Can't help with Iron Raven, though …

Just returned to galaxy one last night. Had one planet highlighted (6-6 keys). went there, sent me to the opposite side of the galaxy (G). Currently going to the new planet. Don't know if it is the actual start of the mission but I'm trying!

Triggering the missions was always a point of mystery in Elite. I played the hell out of that game, had more than 300 kills, never got offered any missions. (C64)
