Just treating it as a completely different game to Elite.
You still get to eat Cequququian wolf meat though - and drink Zaquessoian evil juice!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Yeah, I'm getting more used to it now I've played a few hours.

Nice one, and once you add some cool oxp/z's of your choice it gives the game longevity as well as opening the game up a little more. There are so many to choose from, i'm currently using 146 oxp/z's. Glad you stuck with it Christos, have fun getting the ELITE rating and getting your first buyable ship. I'm currently "competent" and that took me a while getting there, 146 oxp/z's made it a little more challenging though.

Yes indeed - the purple poison! Oh to be on Zaquesso now the xagave are in bloom!

Christos, are you running any OXPs? I'm all for sticking to the core game mechanics, but there's some fine eye-candy to be had.
If you have decent gfx, Griff's shipset is good, and Random Ship Names adds ambience. Neither affect the game mechanics.

150,000 credits with just 186 kills? Right now I am in great debt but have more than 350 kills
