Both of those have had multiple re-masterings in years since (haven't they? not really parts of my hagiography) each of which introduces more opportunities for mischievous digital artistes to do naughty things. The next (?) time someone re-makes the Blue Dahlia, I bet that someone is going to be wearing Monica Lewinski's little blue number, complete with ... additions.

yes there was an anniversary version of star wars ( i refuse to ruin it with the shitty new name tacked on recently) where they went back and added a lot more CGI to the original. i have both the original and the anniversary versions on VHS..

Actually I wasn't offering the "Indiana Jones in Star Wars" thing as an entry because I only know about it because I looked up the "Star Wars in Indiana Jones" thing, and assumed that it would be excluded by the rules.

Also it looks like I read it wrong - it's in The Empire Strikes Back, not A New Hope, the box from the Ark is in the incinerator room in cloud city. Still a year or so before Raiders was released, but it's more plausible that it was there from the start.

I guess due to Azad's presence this doesn't count, though.
