A New Hope came out in 1977, and Raiders of the Lost Ark came out in 1981.
Both of those have had multiple re-masterings in years since (haven't they? not really parts of my hagiography) each of which introduces more opportunities for mischievous digital artistes to do naughty things. The next (?) time someone re-makes the Blue Dahlia, I bet that someone is going to be wearing Monica Lewinski's little blue number, complete with ... additions.

yes there was an anniversary version of star wars ( i refuse to ruin it with the shitty new name tacked on recently) where they went back and added a lot more CGI to the original. i have both the original and the anniversary versions on VHS..

Ah, OK then - the Ark of the Covenant in the Imperial trash compactor sweeps the pot! ffutures is up next.

Other crossovers could include the TARDIS easter egg in Fallout. There was also an eight-issue comic series called Assimilation2, which was a Star Trek: TNG/Doctor Who crossover. And there was the glorious lunacy of Ensign Sue Must Die

Actually I wasn't offering the "Indiana Jones in Star Wars" thing as an entry because I only know about it because I looked up the "Star Wars in Indiana Jones" thing, and assumed that it would be excluded by the rules.

Also it looks like I read it wrong - it's in The Empire Strikes Back, not A New Hope, the box from the Ark is in the incinerator room in cloud city. Still a year or so before Raiders was released, but it's more plausible that it was there from the start.

I think that someone else should have the final one of this round anyway.

ok, that took a while to come up with an idea...

name 5 games from 5 different sci fi universes.
the games have to be unique to that universe so common games like chess and poker or dice (craps) dont count.

Azad, from Iain M. Banks's The Player of Games (see azadthegame.com for a somewhat quixotic attempt to make a playable version)

Shuggy, from Judge Dredd

Damage?
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

... let me play Cody's advocate :D
Damage is the game in Iain M. Banks' "Consider Phlebas" novel. Simply described "Damage—the game banned everywhere."
I guess due to Azad's presence this doesn't count, though.

Oops! Forgot the 'one per universe' rule. Thanks, CX!
