stargate and startrek examples were accidents or malfunctions.

To come back to the list questions: 5 examples of mechanical/bio-mechanical/organic-mechanical entities with overwhelming powers, almost god-like in any SF franchise of choice.

E.g. I wouldn't consider HAL 9000 such an entity, but I would consider the Reapers in Mass Effect initial trilogy (the operational scale also matters, i.e. space/planets/timeframe).

PS: To shed some light on how I could find the answer to Smivs question, it wasn't google, but I had to update to the latest of Size Comparison - Science Fiction Spaceships, as the previous versions I had locally didn't have this
Luckily, he didn't ask in what movie of the franchise this was present, as, although I watched them all mostly (still working on Solo: A Starwars Story), I cannot say I've spotted it myself on screen.
