Awesome. I'm all over testing this after this weekend. Got to do fair, so Monday morning I'll fire it up and let you know what I find. ;)

I can't really do a lot of gameplay testing at the moment, so it would be valuable to hear from others as to the impact of this tweak.
Tested a meet with:
- usual pirate (AI("oolite-pirateAI.js")) is safe travel.
- deepspace pirate (AI("DSPpirateAI.plist")) is not safe travel. They is attack a player. (TODO: change)

Idea: In the pirate rock hermit a player can buy the pirate escort (temporary get a setPlayerRole("pirate")). Adds to the Spicy hermits OXP or Hired Gun OXP?

Would be a good activity-category pack if not only one home system would be possible but your mission would be to make a base to ally with your gang (and give bonuses, probably after fulfill a local mission) in every systems. The galactic map can show these systems with a mark, so the player can slowly "conquer" the galaxy, then all galaxies.

Lol, and here I just wanted to build a pirate gang and here we are talking about conquering the galaxy. lol :D
