Someone did, but they changed their mind.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Okay... Since we're doing fives, let's have another

Five SF characters from five different canons who routinely use an alias. Give the name of the character and the alias, as well as the fandom. To make it a little trickier, let's say no superheroes or supervillains!

Well, most of the dark jedi / Sith in Star Wars but I guess they are part of the category super-villains

Miles Vorkosigan comes to mind, but his Admiral Naismith is more of an alter ego.

There's Rose Kolodny / Molly Millions / Sally Shears from William Gibson's "Sprawl" stories and novels. I'm not sure which (if any) is the real name and which is the alias, although the Turing Police pursued her as Kolodny.

It's a shame these need to be from different sci-fi universes, otherwise I'd just list the crew of the Raza 8)
Commander Smivs, the friendliest Gourd this side of Riedquat.

Came in my mind too late, fit perfectly to the requirements.

I think I'm going to have to say no on the Raza, since they don't really have aliases as such, but Molly / whatever and Miles / Naismith certainly count. Three more?

Note - an alias that nobody believes is the character's real name still counts, if the character persists in trying to use it.

Ford Prefect from THHGTTG. His real name is "only pronounceable in an obscure Betelgeusian dialect, now virtually extinct since the Great Collapsing Hrung Disaster of Gal./Sid./Year 03758 which wiped out all the old Praxibetel communities on Betelgeuse Seven." Ford never learned how to pronounce his own name, but the other kids at his school gave him the nickname "Ix", which in the language of Betelguese Five translates as "boy who is not able satisfactorily to explain what a Hrung is, nor why it should choose to collapse on Betelgeuse Seven".

BSG again, often use pilot callsigns in regular talks, not only during combat:
"Starbuck" - Kara Thrace
"Apollo" - Lee Adama
"Boomer" - Sharon Valerii
"Athena" - Sharon Agathon
"Helo" - Karl Agathon

OK... I'm going to have to disqualify Doctor Who because he never actually calls himself Doctor Who - and Doctor is actually his real name, if I understood things correctly. Which may mean that the profession is named after him, not vice versa.

Which makes BSG characters the collective fifth and Norby the winner. Have a virtual coconut!

The one I was expecting someone to use was Peter Quill, AKA Star Lord, from Guardians of the Galaxy.

Thanks! Then name 5 SF cartoon series which are enough humorous in my personal view. It would be too easy without the last restriction so I keep up the right to decide which will be accepted. Also mean that I must know them so possible to see more titles before the fifth of mine will arrive.
