Re: Science Fiction Trivia
Quite a few potentially from Star Trek. The 'communicator' (particularly the hand-held ones from TOS) are basically mobile (cell) phones, and staying with TOS, Bones used a spray injector to administer medication rather than a syringe with a needle. Such things now exist and are in use.

Another list of five, then. Five political figures from five different SF backgrounds. These individuals should have been elected, or should have acquired their position - Supreme Ruler of the Universe, Sub-District Six Waste Disposal Comptroller, or whatever - through some formal process other than force or simple inheritance.

Scars remind us where we've been. They don't have to dictate where we're going.

I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

In The Stainless Steel Rat for President he does I think "win" an election - I'll allow it (unless someone can definitely say he didn't). One more wins the Herring-o-Questions …
