Seriously debating on creating a Facebook page for Oolite.
I'd link the main site, forums and wiki to it and update it on any news of OXZ's and features.
Anyone have a problem with me doing this in order to connect with and draw in more players?

I think there was already a Facebook page that has not been updated for yeas now. Not sure who the owner of that page was and I don't have any links handy. If you want to go ahead and do it I don't see a problem with it, but be aware that maintaining such a page will be more demanding than what it initially looks like..

I did a FB search for Oolite a few days back and came up with nothing so I think what ever page there was may be gone. I actually own or maintain a few FB pages and groups, should be up to it.

I'd be happy to see an Oolite FB page, although I don't have time to manage one myself.

If you create one, I'd appreciate having admin access, as I would probably have to deal with inevitable queries about the page at some point, and would like to be able to deal with that effectively.

As with almost anywhere on the interwebbedness of things, I'm aegidian on FB.

Working on adding ship set pics, station pics, and planet pics to the page, but will take a bit cause I'm currently a little low on power. I live off grid and my electricity comes from solar and a generator, which it's been a bit over cast and I'm really low on gas.
So once I get things charged back up I'll add more to the page.

If anyone is interested in being part of the page crew, let me know and I'll add you on.

Working on gathering game footage to create a game trailer.
If anyone has some good combat footage toss me a link and I'll work it in.

For combat, I would suggest grabbing the Oolite Developer Release for Mac and using the Debug Console (instructions here) to spawn 20 pirates, a few traders and 10 police in the same area, then start recording and let things run their course.

Right now I'm phone bound as I've run out of gas for the gen and there is a big thunder storm passing through.
Hoping to get gas tomorrow and will down load and play then.
Thanks for the debug info, been meaning to ask cause I've had a few glitches popping up and wanted to have the info available to find and fix.

I'd like to thank everyone for hitting up the Oolite Facebook page.
Please tell others and like a few of the posts if you can it gives us a better reach.
I am trying to keep up and post any and all new OXZ's and OXP's as well as any important news.
If you have vids or screen pics you want to post there please let me know and I'll make that happen.
