Art for OXZ's....
So I happen to be a fine line graphics artist and digital artist and I'm offering to do art for your OXP/Z's for free.
After seeing some of the hodge/podge thrown together stuff, I mean no offence to anyone, I'd like to help.
Oolite is full of interesting aliens, and they should be shown.
No reason a monkey with glasses, or a muppet should be the faces of the news.
Let's work together to upgrade and spice things up.
If you want to see examples of my art just type in John GoldenWolf into a Google search and you will find me, hit images and quite a few of my pieces will come up.
Seriously let's spruce this game up.

Re: Art for OXZ's....
I would really appreciate your help, since I am myself a complete noob in the graphics art I can use support to modify and enhance some of the the ships of my current project.
Please have a look at the WIP here and PM me if you are interested

Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

Re: Art for OXZ's....
Why thank you.
I would really like to help out in the art department with this game if possible.
Of course I'm not a modeller, and ship skins look like it's going to take me a bit to get the hang of.
Currently working on some better reporter pics for Snoopers though.
If it works when I'm done I'll post up the image files so others can use them if they like.

I like them very much! I also like that your network names are just names, not puns on real networks. I am not a big fan of those in Oolite

Thanks guys. I really appreciate the props.
I live off grid out in the woods and have no friends out here, so you all have become my new adopted family and I want to put in what I can.

When I was searching around here I found a Galactic Navy logo that someone was working on and made sure that it is in the Navy News channel logo.
Just trying to keep it uniformed.

Everyone should be a fan of Stellaris! I often play Oolite with Stellaris soundtrack blasting in the background
