Received a mission to drop off some old documents but the marker for where is gone. Got no clue where I'm supposed to go.
A planet name would be most helpful right now.

Nope just that I have these old documents that need to be delivered to a democratic station near by.
I do have a blue diamond maker on a planet far to the east that is a Confederacy, but that just showed up and got no idea why it's there no missions listed to said planet, unless that is the Collector mission.

Those seen involve getting said document from your current position in a Democratic system to the Main Station of any other Democratic system. Doing so will complete the mission for a small amount of ₢. There does not seem to be a time limit involved. These missions pop up from time to time for the Commander who has a low Parcel Delivery Reputation to remind them that Parcel Delivery Contracts are a viable way of earning a living.
As for the Blue Diamond that could indicate a number of things - Stellar Serpent, Space Pizza, etc. It is there to mark a place that might be of interest without being mission critical. Major Missions that you have accepted will always appear on your F5-F5 screen.

There was a mission marker but it is gone now. Just need a name......

Was editing my post while you were typing. The marker and the delivery mission had nothing to do with one another. Deliver the documents to the Main Station of ANY Democratic system and you will complete the mission.

I know the marker has nothing to do with the UPS mission cause it is on a Confederacy system and not a democracy.
I just need the name of the system I need to go to. Unless it's part of the gig to hit every democratic system on the map till I find it.

You can take it to any Democratic system. Pick the nearest one that isn’t the original system.
