XBox Wireless Controller troubles

Post by DataPacRat »

Main hardware: Thinkpad T410
OS: Fedora 26
Controller: XBox Wireless

I push the X button on the controller, it starts flashing, and the Bluetooth manager reports that the "Xbox Wireless Controller" is active and shows data is going back and forth. But after a few seconds, the controller stops flashing, and the Bluetooth manager shows the connection ends. At no point does any program I try seem to receive any input from the controller

At all points, when I try to run xboxdrv, it gives the same results:

Code: Select all

[root@warren ~] # xboxdrv
xboxdrv 0.8.8 - http://pingus.seul.org/~grumbel/xboxdrv/

-- [ ERROR ] ------------------------------------------------------
No Xbox or Xbox360 controller found
I've hit up http://wiki.alioth.net/index.php/Linux_ ... d_Gamepads , downloaded the runxboxdrv, and tried to use it, but the 'no controller found' error seems to stump it.
Thank you for your time,
