I just wanted to say hi. I played the original on my CPC464 for so many hours one summer that I nearly developed Vampirism. I'm blown away to see that you guys are doing this and wish I'd stumbled upon it sooner. :D Time to dive on in again, I guess.

The CPC464 and the sound of the programs loading from the tape... Will it actually start? Will it not? And those wonderful intro musics (Zynaps, Thanatos, Netherworlds, Exolon...).

Hi Johnny1975, and welcome.
Oolite is a bit more sophisticated than the original Elite as you've noticed. We're a friendly bunch, so if you have any questions, feel free to ask. This Board is also a great source of information and advice, and one thing you will find useful is the browser search plug-in.
