Re: Screenshots
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Re: Screenshots
Any chance/way that jump sequence could be made into an OXP for the main game?
Just the visuals, although the steering through witchspace too would be excellent.

Re: Screenshots
Nice screenies, Cody! Is the first using Perlin 3D planets? And where does this jump sequence come from?

Yes, P3D planets - and Song of the Labyrinth, a scenario.

Yup, welcome to the club
4 engines look so great on it, way better than 2!
You might need to put some effort on the decals though ...

Yes, I absolutely love this alternative model by Griff. Actually, I will start working on a SuperCobra and on a Cobra Mk. IV OXPs using it as basis, but these screenies are Griff's vanilla model. Let's see how that goesCommander_X wrote:Yup, welcome to the club

Hmm, I don't know how to change the decals on his models, I simply used Ship Respray to change the model and all options had the same decals. You might need to put some effort on the decals though ...

Re: Screenshots
Changing the decals on the player ship is easy - no idea about the NPCs though.

CaptSolo made a nice and shiny version of the good old SuperCobra for the RandomHits oxp. You might want to check that too.

Oh, did he? I had the impression that the latest Random Hits still used the very low poly model. I will take a look at that before moving any further then, thanks for the heads up spara!spara wrote:CaptSolo made a nice and shiny version of the good old SuperCobra for the RandomHits oxp. Re: Screenshots
Yep. It's based on CaptSolo's Cobra 3XT model and it's not available as a separate oxp.gsagostinho wrote: ↑Mon Aug 07, 2017 11:59 amOh, did he? Re: Screenshots
Great to know then. That was exactly my first idea, to use the III-XT model as basis. I then thought of using Griff's Alt Cobra III due to the fact that it also has four exhausts like the low-poly SuperCobra, making it very recognizeable from far away. But so if CaptSolo already has an up-to-date model for the SuperCobra, then I will just move on to something else.

Re: Screenshots
Creating your own decals is the hard part (for someone with zero gfx skills like me, anyway). For the 4-decal player Cobra you'll need to create/find/pirate four images (each 256x256) and make them into a 1024x256 strip. Then name it and replace the default player decal
