I mean the Hud , then the Speech Messages and the Ship near the Witchpoint that have a Docking Bay

I'm assuming you are using the windows version.

The mac version has an inbuilt text-to-speech facility.
For a windows imitation DL the sounds OXP. (these are just nice samples though, not real text2speech.)

IIRC Giles was playing with large dockable ships and largeShipAI, when he made the video.

What is the shortcut for sell all/buy all on the commodity screen?

What were those astrological looking symbols on the Short Range Map? And how does one make them appear?

Question 1 = Dunno! (but if you find out let me know)

Question 2 = pressing i brings up the Economy (either wheat stalks for Agri or cogs for Industrial, the munber of stalks/cogs denotes poor/rich) Government type and Tech Level. See here: http://wiki.alioth.net/index.php/Short_Range_Chart

On the commidities screen the enter key is the shortcut to buy or sell all.

On the short range map press i and hold, this showa the tech level, Rich/poor/industrial/agricultural, and the polical status.

Thanks. That will save a lot of F6-F7 switching. And I know a couple of cursor keys that just got their life expectancy upped with the buy/sell max shortcut.
