You want a different bunch of morons?
Yup. :) The other morons are nicer.
Unfortunately, as Big D points out, this could leave the not-so-nice morons with a bigger majority.

Scotland play England in a World Cup qualifier at Hampden on the Saturday following the election. So that'll be interesting.

Scotland v England at Hampden is always 'interesting'.

A woman who always keeps her promises has called an election she promised not to, in order to obtain a mandate she says she already has, for a policy she said was a bad idea.

Ever feel like your in a box, you have the key to the box but your captor wants you to give it to them before they lock it down and padlock you in.
Not for any particular physical reason. It won't change your general situation, of the overall encompassing nature of your confinement.

But it's important for them to know that when they get the knife out, you won't scream.

For that, they need to feel justified. Yeah. I know where this is going.

A Labour government would seek to create four new UK-wide bank holidays, Jeremy Corbyn says.
Yes, this is what the country needs - more bank holidays!

Witless - but it still beats "finish privatising the NHS", which is what the Tories will do (although they are probably not quite stupid enough to put it in writing, in their manifesto).

Witless is certainly one word for it.

Actually they don't even "need" to feel justified. since, what you care about, it doesn't even matter to them.
They just want to have a justification.

The UK would make its mind up to leave the Eurovision Song Contest if there were a referendum, a survey suggests.
