The altitude indicator on your HUD has me bemused. Don't remember seeing a main station that close to a planet. Some logical explanation, I wouldn't wonder?
That's no planet ;).

Frame, that looks great! :)

OK, so the angle's a little off but that's not important for my purposes.

Might this be something you could release or explain at some point please?

The top pic is a top pic!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Now that's my kind of Torus station - hit the injectors, straight through between the arms, flip the ship and dock! Gotta love CoachWhip!

A few early generation Dodecahedron stations are still in service.

CaptSolo, that looks great!

I also liked your earlier, 'lights-a-plenty' texture variants for similar stations.
Any chance of seeing them in some sort of alternate texture pack please?

I don't recall ever releasing any station texture variants, but then I've lost a chunk of time. I don't remember how to package an OXZ to make it available for the Expansion Pack Manager. I believe I used to have a member account over at oolite.org but accessing that may also be a problem. I did modify three of PaGroove's stations for my own use, but that was before all of this happened.

Those little lights really give a great sense of scale and size of a Dodecahedron station

Perhaps I could help there if you like?
It should be no problem for me to put together and upload an oxz for you, should you wish?

Oxz/oxp it would just be nice to see it in my game.
In any case, thanks for posting the screenshot and I hope you're ok.

So I had just decided to throw away the last mantle of a trader, and take on the suite of bounty hunter. After buying an exhorbinantly priced Veloce Et Appuntita, I decided to take her out for a whirl. I was able to pretty much dominate all of the standard ships, but then I met my match in the form of a crazy Barracuda pilot. First ten minutes of having her, and I almost wrecked.... we played a game of chicken and ended up passing right under each other's hulls. Thank goodness for the skinny profile!

*edit* Took me a few tries.... new to this method of uploading pictures. This should work now.

I'm Ravished by the Sheer Implausibility of that Last Statement

It should be a crime for Anacondas to fly without escort. That much temptation is just too much to resist.

Well, this evovled into creating the entire solar system (at scale. 1 AU is 1 AU. Apart from the sun and the main planet, diameters of everything else is to scale), it can work on its own however and is not dependant on any solar systems being there.

At present i got a working FSD drive that i named OFD drive. navigating is really easy and automatics take care of you not plunging into a planet. It only needs an escape vector for when people decide to land on planets via other OXPs.

Oh well a video shows it all best, and allow me to make you my willing victims of experimenting with youtube moneytisation. it means there will be adds ;)
