Yes, I'm still alive

Post by winston »

Yes, I'm still alive and no, I haven't forgotten about Oolite or the broken nightly build. Round tuits have been hard to come by due to lots of other projects going on right now (probably the biggest time sink at present is I'm teaching myself electronics. The other big time sink is my Dad bought a boat that needs - as an estate agent would put it "some renovation" and I'm helping him with it).

In the next week or so I'll do an interim build on my workstation of what's in SVN right now since it'll mean those who like the bleeding edge can get the latest build in the absence of the nightly. Watch here for announcements - hopefully, I'll try and tear myself away from my oscilloscope and do it by the middle of next week. I'll do a full interim build (autopackage and everything).

OK - a build of the latest SVN is up - 1.66-dev1

You can get it from:

ftp://ftp.alioth.net/oolite
http://oolite-linux.berlios.de
rsync://rsync.alioth.net/oolite/dev/Linux-x86

Autopackage and tarball packages provided at berlios and the FTP site, along with a source and data tarball. I've given it a quick spin on my machine, and it all appears to run fine, although it *is* a dev release so expect the unexpected :-)
