According to Larry Niven, that would be Beowulf Shaever, iirc.

Re: Science Fiction Trivia
Niven's Neutron Star - won the Hugo for best short story. <lobs pineapple over>
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Re: Science Fiction Trivia
Oooh, a pineapple? Just for me? Why, thank you, Cody! How did you know I am feeling a bit peckish at the moment?
Anyway, <SLURP> this Star Trek vessel was a little smaller <SLURP> than her sister, the original USS Enterprise. But she <SLURP> still managed to damage her big sister significantly in a battle. <SLURP> (Sjeesh, this pineapple is really juicy)
The name of the ship and her class, please.

Only half a freshly bought pineapple for you then, Amah.
Now, , if you know that Hart woman, the comedienne from the UK , you might get the whole one!

Don't know... probl. too easy, but I have to find some rum, a pineapple to make a pina colada
Who was on board of the shuttle Atlantis to plant explosives on the surface of Attila to divert it into a stable orbit around Earth?

Re: Science Fiction Trivia
Not seen the film, but a quick google shows it doesn't seem to have too bad a cast (Billy Connolly, Martin Sheen, Anna Friel, Gerard Butler …). Mind you, the FIFA vanity vehicle United Passions had Gérard Depardieu, Sam Neill and Tim Roth: a cast can only carry you so far!
Speaking of sport, here's my question: name the book (and, IIRC, long-distant TV series) wherein you might play a game of Centrifugal Bumble-Puppy.
