Is there a wiki page or something where I can see the brand names? I'd like to at least attempt one, but I'm not sure what the "big names" are or any of the background behind them.

You can find quite a few Elite brand names in the ships in service section of the Elite manual.

The honorable gentlemen and esteemed scientists who brought us the Energy Bomb...
The idea is that it looks like a big explosion and has the initials KK in it.
If someone with skills turns this into something better, I'd not only be OK with that, but honored.
