This tedious little planet looks good with some OXPs. Or rather, the station orbiting that tedious little planet.

I ended up spending most of tonight adjusting HUD settings and trying to get the keyboard bindings to work on my non-standard keyboard. The HUD turned out well but the bindings weren't working so I decided to screw it and fly around in Ensoreus to try my hand at mining. When I went back to the main station to sell my haul, I ended up in this massive traffic jam. Both the main station and the nearby superhub were backed up.

What causes that then - staying in one system too long? Or OXP stuff?Norby wrote:Nice shot, common situation.
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills

Re: Screenshots
It's caused by staying too long. I encountered traffic jams at Laxema:
It was a coincidence that I encountered this during my first tests with Spicy Hermits, and I naturally blamed the OXP for this, but it is completely normal in this system. As I wrote in the populator memory thread, some systems tend to fill up over time.

Figures. It was pretty interesting hearing all the other NPC ships complain about the wait over comms though.Fritz wrote:It's caused by staying too long.
Yes. Yes I would. I'll give that a go tonight.Norby wrote:Would you like no more traffic jam?

A Viper in pursuit. Captured using Cim's [wiki]Camera Drones[/wiki] OXP set to Target Forward. Griff's late model Viper and Viper interceptor have replaced his originals in my all-in-one ship set.

I do like an angry Griff Viper... almost as much as I like an angry Griff Moray!

I like Ceerti (a revolting little planet) - it's one of Povray's best textures. That Python, Apple II, had just offered me a lift to Ceraso, which was very handy!
A long time ago, I had an old Apple II with only one game on a 5.25" floppy - some dungeon-type thing.

Re: Screenshots
Funny how you came up with this Povray praise when I was in the process of looking for comments on a Blender method of generating planet textures.

Yes, please. I have a suspended project to add unique planets into all of the 2048 systems, this post contain my attempts but I need a few thousands more than I have.Commander_X wrote:If anyone is interested, I can start/contribute to a thread about how to.
