Nice one, Smivs. Really loving the paint job. Some commanders might mess their undies encountering this ship.

Ha, thanks. It does look quite evil :)
It's still a WIP - I'm just tidying up those vanes on the ram-scoop at the moment. It will be bundled with the Python ET which I've yet to start, and my holiday next week will also delay things, but it should be ready sometime in November.

Hard to believe no one here is talking about the new film.

I got to see it last night and I must say that - overall - I enjoyed it very much. There were a few plot holes and silly "What!?" scenes, but I decided to ignore them and just enjoy the characters and their story. Very happy to see that they can still make a Star Wars movie where the characters have some room for themselves.

I loved it myself. Felt a little like the first X-Men movie in that it was setting up characters and ensuring we are ready for the next one which will be even better.
Great flick, back in the spirit of the original, much better than the "prequels".

Watched it today and found it an enjoyable film with much of the feeling of the original (Episode IV). If I was to be critical, it was perhaps lacking in a bit of the menace and jeopardy of the original. On the whole however a great romp in the star wars universe and definitely makes me want to see the next part of the story.

I am intrigued to see the next and what happens with the Vader wannabe.

Yes, there were similar plot elements to the original Star Wars, but there was enough new as well. Anyone claiming that this as a remake... well, I cannot understand them.

All stories are based on other stories. The first stories are lost to history, there needs to be the right mix of familiarity with a blend of new to facilitate a sense of progression. From the reactions it looks like disney hasn't screwed this up.

Harrison Ford got the most.

That's obvious. I guess Mark Hamill and Carrie Fisher will catch up with the "Next Episode"(s) - heh!
