Hello again!
Is there a way to exchange the splash screen at startup? (Besides of replacing the files in the game core)
I already tried to create an Images folder and placed those files there, including the splash.tiff in the OXP's root.
It's not that I don't like the current logo but my "cinematic ooniverse" needs something more dramatic
If you're interested in how it looks, look here: https://bb.oolite.space/viewtopic.php?f=4&t=17870
It's the first picture in the gallery...
Any help is appreciated.
Cheers...

Re: Yet another Question: Custom Splashscreens with OXP
I've often had my own splashscreen, and I have my own theme music too.
How to switch the splashscreen at startup as you wish? No idea!

I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Re: Yet another Question: Custom Splashscreens with OXP
I believe the only way to change splash screen is to replace the core resources bitmap. As far as I cam see, the game's resource manager, which handles all expansion pack paths, is initialized after the splash screen has fired.
