Hi again folks, i've just zaped to galaxy 2 but how do you get back to galaxy 1 is there a map to hand off to or is it done just by chance?

you have to cycle to thru all the galaxies to get back to 1, unfortunately.

ok cool, but how many galaxys r there?, and why go to other galaxys, do they offer different things?

New systems (but that it more of the same). However, different OXP and native missions take place in different galaxies. 8 in total.
OXPS : The Assassins Guild, Asteroid Storm, The Bank of the Black Monks, Random Hits, The Galactic Almanac, Renegade Pirates can be downloaded from the Elite Wiki here.
