Will have a tinker this evening and report back.

Code: Select all

2006-08-21 12:48:57.000 oolite.exe[3420] DEBUG ** saving cache ...**
2006-08-21 12:48:57.000 oolite.exe[3420] File NSData.m: 934. In [NSDataMalloc -writeToFile:atomically:] Open (d:\Program Files/Oolite165/oolite.app/GNUstep/Library/Oolite-cachea00916) failed - The system cannot find the path specified.
Maybe creating the cache-directory by hand would be enough?

I suspect that the cache is not built when the enclosing directory doesn’t exist.

I tried creating the directory by hand, but then oolite dumps the directory because it is the 'wrong version number'.

directories created were:

d:\Program Files/Oolite165/oolite.app/GNUstep/Library/Oolite-cache

and

d:\Program Files/Oolite165/oolite.app/GNUstep/Library/Oolite-cachea00916

I created an Oolite folder inside ~/Library/Application Support, but still no cache.

In other news, removed all OXPs, and experienced improved stability!

I had my first cache! :D

It's a FILE called 'oolite-cache' in the library directory, have to delete it though. 8)

Don't know how it got generated.
Did nothing different than usual: testing models in witchspace.
