Been away from the game for awhile and recently installed 1.82. Very nice update I would say. However, I've noticed that after saving my Commander under a different name, the default "Jameson" still displays after loading my new commander. Is this a known problem or am I missing something simple and obvious?
The commander name has been decoupled from the name used in the savegame. You can now go to the Interfaces screen (F4) and edit the ship registration, giving both your commander and your ship a different name if you want. This was done to avoid messages like "Thanks for your help, Commander a_cTestSave01!".
