Using Fonts that have the Open Font Licence (OFL)
Can anyone explain if the Open Font Licence (OFL) is suitable to allow a font with this license to be used in Oolite? It looks OK, but I don't want to release something that comes back to bite me.

It's marked as DFSG-allowed - source - and they're pickier about licensing than we are because they have many more use cases to consider.
You'd need to note in your license description file and the license field of the manifest that the font was under OFL (only) and the rest of your OXP was under [whatever license].
(Alternatively, if you're doing a font-only OXP, consisting of one texture file, one plist, and the manifest, you might as well just release the whole thing as OFL)
