Upgrading all installed oxz through a command in the manager

Post by Day »

Good Sunday everybody,

I think it would be nice to have a command in the oxz manager to upgrade all installed oxz.
Currently, each time I start Oolite, I go into the oxz manager and have to go through all oxz to see which have been updated, and ask for their upgrade one by one.

What do you think?

To speed things up a bit, in 1.82 you can set the filter to 'u' and it will only show you upgrades. You'll still have to upgrade them one at a time, but it'll be a bit quicker.

I suggest when I press enter on an installed package then check for upgrades in the required list. This can help to install missing dependencies also without removing the package first, for example when I remove one from AddOns by hand to get it from the manager.

Another improvement if the color of names can change to blue when a required package has upgrade available. This speed up the upgade especially in the case of metapackages.
