The internets are not (quite) dead!

Post by Wildeblood »

For a long while now I've been convinced the internet fad was over. Facebook killed it by making boring, ugly, useless web sites accepted as normal. It seemed the entire world was in a race to see who could make the ugliest, most boring, least useful web site in the hope of creating the new Facebook and becoming billionaires (with a B). It's been months since I've seen a website that wasn't "calming" blue and white.

Just when I thought all hope was lost, I found this. A proper, old-school website that actually has a colour other than calming blue in its design. Hooray!

Check out this cool web site.

Wildeblood, you could have at least warned us to have a pair of Joo Janta 200 Super-Chromatic Taste Sensitive(1) sunglasses handy before clicking that link...

(1) Similar to their Peril Sensitive range, but for artistic sensibility.

You bunch of wimps; a few bright colours never hurt anyone. Back in the golden age of the interwebs we used to have animated GIFs of spiralling hypno-disks and all manner of other good stuff on our web sites.

I've just spent the last five hours hypnotised by that - thanks!
Luckily the cat got hungry and woke me up again.

I went looking for a couple of sites that would counter these posts with something MORE intense. I woke up on the floor with sketchy recollections.
