Fuel injectors/Torus Drive

I run Win Vista (Ye I know, not my choice!) 2.*GHz dual chip intel. 4G ram Onboard graphics.

Having a problem with V1.80. When using injectors for >about 10s it will often though not always go into reverse. The thrust jets show in forward view and ship goes backwards.
Seems to have started after trying to install BGS M1.7. Uninstalled then installed BGS A-1.5.2.oxp. First screen says
"Check BGS M latest logs"
Even after re-boot with shift.
I wouldn't know what I'm looking at in the log.
Uninstalled everything BGS. no longer log quiery but reverse thrust stays.

It doesn't go into reverse every time, But is a problem when your running away from huge fire power.

How many OXPs do you have installed? Can you try with all of them removed? If this happens again, can you exit the game immediately and post the Latest.log?

From the description it looks like a collision resulting in your ship being thrown back at extreme speeds.

However, what I would probably recommend at this point would be to test if this happens at all with the 1.82 development version (links for downloads are in the sticky in Oolite-PC about the nightly builds). Version 1.82 is currently in release preparation stage and the nightly builds represent what would be released as 1.82 if we were to do it today. So try it there, it may be a glitch that's already fixed, although I don't remember anyone reporting something similar in the past.

Thank you for the response.
I still run V1.76 and have a "trial" version of 1.80. That is I load it under the name trial. When I compared what was different, as was getting same problem with 76. Common factor, introduction of military fuel injectors.
Removed them and very happy camper again.
Now this could be just my machine, tis running ms Vista!!
