No extra shields for Josher?

Currently I'm flying around in a Josher, very good all round ship. Only thing is I don't seem to be able to buy any shield enhancements for it, never seem to be offered for sale. When looking at other Joshers that are up for sale none of them seem to have the shield enhancements fiited either - are they not compatible with this ship?

No shield boosters available, only the (expensive) military flavour...

But don't you have to purchase shield boosters first before you can upgrade them with the military shield enhancement.
Military shields should be available at worlds of tech 14 or higher, since flying the Josher I've never been offered any for sale, saw them for sale loads of times when I used to fly the old Cobra.

Shield boosters and MSE are separate items, you don't need to have one to use the other.

Hmm, btw if i buy boosters first, do i get money back when i purchase MSE? or how do they combine? Having MSE i cannot buy boosters.

I remember in original Elite i could sell any equipment i don't need
