IIx is almost as good as III but significantly cheaper.
I tried it, but cargo scooping seemed very buggy (running 1.65). It kept misreporting the amount of cargo space I had and cargo containers would crash against my ship as if "cargo is full" even when minutes earlier I had had more cargo and just jettisoned some.

Might try it again sometime if it's updated.

Then used "rusty" mkIII may be an option?

Too Slow. I did run a rusty Moray Medical Boat for a little while though, and that worked out ok I guess, but I want the speed. Too often I'm too low on injector fuel...

I'm in an Ophidian class Yacht right now and Love it. The Moray Starboat was just my starter tactic.. load up on goodies, do passenger runs, trade gold/platinum (ONLY! NO ROOM! hehe) scavenged from kills or purchased from rock hermits.

Now I'm back up to a respectable fighter/trader cargo space, with a slightly higher top speed in the Ophidian.. it's all good :D Just gotta save up for those shield upgrades!
