A question regarding elite dangerous

I have a quick question that those who play dangerous will be able to answer quite easily.

Does teorge exist in elite dangerous if so what it's description?

I have a plan but I need some knowledge about how things end up in order for it to be skull smashingly cool.

Teorge does indeed exist - but I can find no system info in the galactic chart. Its spectral-type is KB V, apparently.
It seems to be out on the edge of explored/inhabited space, not too far from my current location.

Edit to add: as it was only 22ly away, I went exploring and discovering - behold Teorge!

So, several factions. Massive asteroid field close to the sun. Next closest planet is a hot jupiter?
Image 5 appears to indicate 2 large bodies close to the sun and a smaller one further out. K class stars are cooler than our sun so a goldie locks zone would have to be closer. But instead of an earth like we have a hot jupiter.

KB suggests it's a binary? One K class and the other B class? V could stand for main sequence? If this is correct then your looking at the K star having all the action going on around it.

Still, No unified clone world. So something happened..... How delicious, I can work with that.

Ok I'm working under the assumption that all the official fiction writers for dangerous have steered clear of Teorge. (bit of a can of worms).

Supplemental: the gas giant (Teorge 3) has four icy planets/moons (A, B, C, D), it seems. Another system pic here.
A binary? Quite possibly, but I didn't go looking for a companion. I do have over 4k's worth of exploration data to sell though.

Good question! I'll attempt a more thorough survey of Teorge system tomorrow - could be I've missed 'em.
I'm still learning this explorer lark, and I've only got an intermediate scanner, not the advanced variant!

With a population of 25,685 compared with the 3.3 billion of Elite? You might still need it even if the planets turn out to be there after all.

(I'm quite impressed that Cody's scanners can perform an exact census of the people in the system, but not find a planet... If you blow up a pirate or two does the number go down?)

I would presume that if there is no habitable planet in the system, then all the people will be on the station(s) in the system, and their number - whilst not perfectly static - would be known by the system authority to the nearest 100 or so. In which case even a basic scanner could retrieve the data.

A tip for you Cody, head away from the main star, flying level with the planetary plane, get up to >10.0c and keep an eye out for moving dots.

Also, once you've found all you can, take a look at the list of planets you've discovered. You may have Teorge 1, 2, 4, 5, 6 but you've evidently missed 3 (for example).

Not only that, I've made my first kill - some fool interdicted me, so I was forced to claim a 7k bounty!

Time I was moving-on, methinks - places to go, things to see, data to sell! This is how I leave Teorge though:



I can't find any moons around Teorge 2, or anything beyond Teorge 6 - but stuff might still be out there.
Teorge 5 and 6 appear to be a binary planetary system - at least, I think that's what the chart implies.

I take it Teorge 1 is that huge chunk of space rubble floating around the star? Or is it that white thing with the accretion disc? Is that a rocky body or just a small gas thing or a thing covered in ice? Do these maps come with a key? Should I just get off my ass and find out myself? Probably.

Lot of gas giants. Not a lot of people. Hmmmm. I know I'm being cheeky here but does that system give you an Orrery View?

Ok so found teorge 1 it's the white thing. It's either Venusian or ice (Ice planet that close to a star? Even a K?) Unlikely. That makes me think carbon dioxide hell hole.

The rubble is an asteroid belt, next out is Teorge 1, a gas giant with rings - they're all gas giants, in fact, and nearly all the moons are icy. Lots of refinery stuff going on in that system, and no main stations - only outpost platforms. Alas, no orrery view - though they once led us to believe that there would be!
