Since my retirement from maintaining and expanding my portfolio, I offer the content of that portfolio up for adoption by anyone who may wish to maintain and improve them, and to keep them compatible with the fast-improving target that is Oolite.
Below is a list of all of my OXPs/OXZs, as taken from my wiki page. They are available to anyone who may wish to take them over, if so please use this thread to make your claim to them. All OXZs are stored on the wiki (although the filenames include wrong version numbers in many cases, as I didn't do it right originally ), and the OXPs are on my box account. The latter will be taken down as and when the OXPs are taken over and updated to new homes by new owners. I also hereby give permission for anyone taking over one or more of the OXZs to take over their manifests on the OXZ manager site (ask Cim to change ownership for you).
New owners name is added in bold italics.

It's first-come, first-served, and this public statement supersedes the licenses in the individual OXP/OXZ files concerning what can be done with them. Of course any OXP/OXZ which doesn't get adopted won't be updated and will probably soon cease to work with all the changes in trunk lately.

I can take over Flight Log if it's still available. Sign me up!

IF someone who is logging in more regularly here is willing to oversee this it would be easier for me for keeping the distribution list up to date (they can take over the list in the first post).
I don't feel I can adopt any of these expansion packs (real life and all), but I would - disingenuously? - like to, er, urge others to do so. For it seems to me that at least the following packs are important to the Ooniverse (i.e. I use them and think they are great - in fact, some of my expansion packs make use of them) and so need maintaining:
Welcome Mat
Energy Equipment
Repair 'Bots
Target Autolock Plus
Armoury
IronHide
Naval Grid
To Catch a Thargoid (TCAT)
Stealth
Planetfall (standard and Russian language versions)
Fuel Station
Gates
Pods
Second Wave
Hired Guns
Actually: OK, sod it. I need to put my money where my mouth is. I'll take - and it will be a privilege - Hired Guns (the code of which I've had occasion to look at, anyway). I can't guarantee that I'll maintain it for more than six months, but, still, that's something (enough?) - and perhaps I can maintain it for longer. Thargoid: PM me?
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

I've often thought that Realistic Damage is a natural partner for my Battle Damage OXP, so if nobody else is interested I could take it over with a view to eventually combining the two into a Realistic Battle Damage OXP.
However my current projects and plans mean that this would not happen for a while, so if anybody else wants to take this OXP on, please let them have it.
Alternatively, anybody else wishing to combine the two is welcome to 'adopt' battle damage as well - I like it and intend to keep it alive, but with the amount of (OXP) work I have lined up at the moment I would happily hand it over to a new keeper.
If you have no other takers, though, you can put me down for Realistic Damage.

Although I understand that Thargoid, having made the decision he doesn't want to continue with OXPs, is motivated to tie up loose ends as soon as possible, I think it's unwise to promote a sense of urgency here. None of these OXPs are currently broken or at risk of breaking any time soon.
Rather than vigorously waving I'll take over... could I do a more reserved register my interest in the compass-related Tracker & Planetary Compass. I.e., if and when they actually need updating, if I'm still around here, I'll do it. But I seriously believe it's more likely I'll have moved on before the need arises.
Here is my interests due to slight connections with my OXPs and my plans:
Big Ships
Bounty Status
Butterflies
Energy Equipment
Fuel Station
Gates
Goliath
IronHide
Laser Boosters
Military Fuel Injectors
Pods
Retro Rockets
TrackerCam
Spara: I think Planetfall would be in good hands at you.
I'm more or less with Wildeblood here. I don't understand the rush for adopting working OXPs. If something breaks, then I'll be happy to see if something can be done about it. Or if I feel some OXP needs to be upgraded, then I'll do something about it.
I'm a bit occupied at the moment (been for a while ). There's still work to be done to the OXPs I'm currently maintaining. Mainly the changed commodities/markets for Oolite 1.81 need to be sorted. From Thargoid's OXPs that means PlanetFall and WildShips. So after I have sorted the ones I'm maintaining, then I can take a look at those. No promises though, so if someone want's to fix those, go ahead.

The worry, I suppose, is that being leisurely about these OXPs will lead to some of them never being adopted, or at least to Thargoid never hearing that they have been adopted.
Anyhow, I'd say the adoption process is going well!
