Oh my. So many OXPs to update and so little time.
Soon is a very elastic term! <grins wryly>
You mean I can put my bottle of Evil Juice back to the cooler?

Animosity (n. strong hostility)? Or animation (n. vivacity; liveliness)? :D

Oops  Ehm, I'll take the vivacity and liveliness stuff, I guess... Not a native English speaker, terribly sorry about that...

Thanks Amah! Fortunately I'm old enough to have seen the Trouble with Tribbles so there is no way I was falling for that one.

I always fall for that one as when I start a new Commander I like to think of him as being a tad bit naive when it comes to the Ooniverse. Also it adds a bit of fun to the game as it is something different to deal with which all adds to the fun factor.

My Adder (with passenger berth) had one for a very long time. It was the ships pet and not any bother at all.

No cargo, nothing to eat? I'm surprised it didn't eat your passengers!
They are cute little critters though - very tasty with BBQ sauce!
I would advise stilts for the quagmires, and camels for the snowy hills
And any survivors, their debts I will certainly pay. There's always a way!

Considering most of my passengers were of a variety of cat species the wee blighter mostly hid. But in my S9 I had installed a special device to channel outside heat to a radiation proof BBQ cooker!

Do I smell another OXP idea coming on?
Most games have some sort of paddling-pool-and-water-wings beginning to ease you in: Oolite takes the rather more Darwinian approach of heaving you straight into the ocean, often with a brick or two in your pockets for luck. ~ Disembodied

Heh, thought about it and even wrote a text file that would go with it. Then I thought about it further and then deleted the text file. No point making things uranatory easy. Or even have another piece of cannon fodder equipment. One is enough. :)

Greetings to all! My first entry here. I have been looking for Elite in the old format for years. Now I have Oolite 1.80 and it looks and plays better than every. First I was impressed by the graphics. Next was the community and the additions. I am not a skilled coder so oxp/oxz development may be a ways off for me, luckily I haven't broken the game by the addons I have downloaded and looked inside.
I did get notepad++ to peek safely.
Best of all is we each have our own little Ooniverse to play in. If I decide to cheat a little it's my choice. So I must confess, for the sake of experimentation I cheated A LOT!
I'm flying a Wonderworm with a fuel collector and Q-charger. Its so much fun! Then to further cheat, slap my hands, I set the shipyard chance to 0 so my WW is unique to my ooniverse.

As you can tell I'm having a great deal of fun.

Thanks to the developers and all those who have added to the experience. I also added Povray_planets for galaxy 1 and Realisticstars.
