Docking an enemy ship/station?

Post by ArkanoiD »

I remember in the original Elite you cannot dock station if you fired on it. I think it is more realistic - why should they allow?

A good point. I think either attacking the station, setting off a bomb while S is highlighted or destroying station security ships should result in lockout - forcing you to scoop for fuel. Maybe even a permenant lockout until you change ship?
The act of talking b*ll*cks whilst waving one's arms about wildly is referred to as testiculation.

I'm not entirely sure that was the case (certainly in BBC Elite).

I like the present system, where you can dock, but you may be fined.
It would make sense for pernicious offenders to be heavily taxed, and for GalCops to really come down hard on you if you attack the station etc.
You came in that? You're braver than I thought!

You can certainly be locked out, as a fugitive or fined as an offender.

I think it may depend on the system-government.
