Spontaneously exploding ships

Post by Uncle Reno »

So I jump into a new system and turn to face the sun. 2 yellow dots appear on my scanner and as I'm in a potentially dangerous system I turn to lock onto them and find out their legal status....at which point they both explode!!
WTF, I think. Then I see another ship behind them heading towards me (and what used to be 2 Mosquito Traders) so I think that perhaps this blew them up and I prepare to face this new enemy...who then explodes himself!!
After this my scanner is completely empty and I'm left to scoop the cargo left at my leisure.
Anybody else had this? I'm sure I can remember this being mentioned a while back but I can't find it by searching.

This was a problem with some of the beta and rc versions of 1.65 but it should be fixed in the current release version.

Basicallly ships are exiting witchspace into the same point in normal space, the resulting collision causes the explosion.

Which version? Mac, Linux or Doze?
The act of talking b*ll*cks whilst waving one's arms about wildly is referred to as testiculation.
