Did I miss something about Oolite 1.8 and the Safety Zone?
I was once suggested that anyone firing on another ship in the Safety Zone should get in trouble with the police, so long as the ship being fired upon was not attacking a clean ship. Has this been implemented? Recent experience - of shooting up some offenders - in the Safety Zone suggests it has . .

I've noticed the vipers giving not-so friendly notices to offenders around the station to pay fines or else.
While I haven't seen any criminals shooting around the station - yet! - I suppose the vipers would swarm an offender making trouble with weapons hot.

I noticed that chat too, yes.
I suppose it is possible that, when attacking offenders, accidentally I hit something police-y with my ship's turrets . . .
